All fees include 21% Spanish VAT.
In principle, all Spanish VAT-registered participants will be able to deduct the VAT in their Spanish VAT return.All EU-participants but not Spanish VAT-registered may apply for a VAT refund to the Spanish Tax Agency subject to certain conditions (namely, submission of request in own Member State, minimum amount of EUR 50).Also, all Non-EU-participants may apply for a VAT refund to the Spanish Tax Agency subject to certain aditional conditions (namely, submission of request in Spain and appointment of a fiscal representative). A particular scheme of VAT refund is also available for non-EU travellers when acquiring goods in Spain and VAT has been paid to retailers.Certain restrictions may apply as only professional expenses give right to a refund and a formal invoice is always required.

Is considered an accompanying person: “A participant’s spouse, partner, child or other personal relation who does not have a business or scientific interest in the Congress”.

To enable the IFA to evaluate the target group of participants attending the Congress, participants are kindly requested to indicate on the registration form the capacity in which they will participate in the Congress. This may be relevant in terms of VAT deductions for participants, and will also allow the IFA to generate target groups from the list of participants.
During the Congress, the list of participants, including names, companies, countries and hotel information of the participants and their accompanying persons will be made available to all participants. Sponsors and third parties organizing private events may be supplied with the list of participants before the Congress. When registering for the Congress, participants are asked to confirm that they agree to share and/or publish their personal and hotel details in the list of participants.

• Gala Dinner at the Palacio de Cibeles on Thursday, 29 September 2016. Tickets must be purchased prior to the event via the registration form. Price: 165 EUR (10% VAT included).

IMPORTANT: All bank fees are payable by the sender. Please clearly indicate “IFA2016 + Name of participant / ID Number” in the concept of the transfer and send a copy of the wire transfer receipt to the following email address: ifamadrid2016@barcelocongresos.com
For payments made after 10 September 2016, please bring a copy of your payment confirmation to the Congress.

Confirmation

As soon as the Technical Secretariat receives your registration and payment, you will receive an e-mail confirmation with all details and payment status.
It is the participants’ responsibility to ensure that all details such as the address, registration type, tickets, hotel reservation, dates of arrival and departure, etc. are correct. Please contact the Technical Secretariat immediately should you identify any errors or have any questions.
If we have not received your full payment for the Congress fee and/or related events/ tours before 10 September 2016, any pre-booked events/tours including free events will be cancelled and you will receive a cancellation notice. The cancelled events/tours can be re-booked and paid for on site if still available.


Additional information

IFA members
Please indicate your IFA membership number in the corresponding field of the registration form. IFA members will receive the 2016 Cahiers covering the general reports on subjects 1 and 2. IFA members will also have access to the Online Branch Reports and the Congress documents database on the secured section of the IFA website www.ifa.nl.

Non-IFA members
Non-IFA members are welcome to participate in the 2016 Annual Congress in Madrid, and are also welcome to apply for membership prior to registering for the Congress. For additional information, please visit the IFA website at www.ifa.nl Non-IFA members will not be supplied with the Cahiers, and will also be subject to a higher Congress registration fee.

Access
Only registered participants will be entitled to attend the sessions of the Congress. Only registered participants and registered accompanying persons will be admitted to the social programme events or permitted to book tours available through the Congress tour programme. Please remember that social events and tours have limited seats.

Security
For security reasons, participants and their accompanying persons will be required to wear their Congress badges at all times during the Congress, the social events and tours. Children are not permitted to attend Congress sessions, social events or tours unless registered as an accompanying person.

On-site registration

Participants must collect their personal badge and documents at the Registration desk located in the entrance hall of the CCN Building (Convenciones y Congresos Norte) in Feria de Madrid –  North Convention and Congress Centre upon arrival at the Congress. Please remember to bring your confirmation of participation.
